Mama Ratna’s Recipe: Rice Flour Snack

Welcome back to Mama Ratna’s recipe YouTube channel! This time I’ve got an idea to sell my delicious rice flour snack again. This snack is made from affordable and delicious ingredients that are guaranteed to be addicting.


  • 400 ml water
  • 1 teaspoon chicken stock
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 scallions, washed and cut into small pieces
  • 200 grams rice flour
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • Flour for coating
  • Breadcrumbs for coating


  1. Prepare a container for cooking and add the water, chicken stock, salt, and scallions. Stir until the salt and chicken broth dissolve.
  2. Add the rice flour and stir until it is well combined and smooth. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the dough thickens and cooks evenly.
  3. Turn off the heat and transfer the dough to a container. Add the cooking oil and mix it until it is completely smooth.
  4. Take enough dough and shape it into sticks, as shown in the video.
  5. Prepare a container of flour and add enough water to it. Mix it until the dough dissolves and there are no lumps. Prepare another container with breadcrumbs.
  6. Coat the sticks in the flour mixture and then coat them with breadcrumbs until they are smooth. Repeat until all sticks are coated.
  7. Heat enough cooking oil in a pan and fry the sticks until they are golden brown and crispy. Drain them and serve them hot.

You can also store them in the refrigerator or pack them in plastic Mika for selling. Add mayonnaise on top for an extra touch of flavor.
